Creativity has many faces

Judy Falls, the lead character in my current work-in-progress, A Corpse in the Chapel, is a world class recycler and re-purposer. She loves to take other people’s discards and turn them into the sort of weathered treasures we see in those incredible rooms decorated by Joanna Gaines of HGTV’s Fixer-Upper. Quilting is one of the original recycling crafts, and Judy is no slouch at this art, either.

Coincidentally, my Ideal Reader is also a quilter.

Today I am featuring some pretty quilts (aren’t they ALL?) and links to resources you Ideal Readers might enjoy.

Just one of the beautiful quilts my friend, Donna Reed, aslo a retired pastor's wife, made me. See the kitties in the butterflies?

Thanks for stopping by. I hope some of these creations have inspired you to start a new craft project of your own. After all, a person can’t read all the time!

Happy quilting!
